Sadie Amara Calvano has become popular for her role as Violet Plunkett that she played in the CBS sitcom Mom. Calvano was born in California and first became interested in gymnastics. She later chose to become an actress. In 2010, she first appeared on the screen with an episode of the CBS series 'NCIS.' Her first big-screen appearance came one year later in the biographical film of crime drama 'J Edgar'. Over the next few seasons, she was able to establish herself among the best actors of today's young. In 2011, she won nominated for the Young Artist Award, Best performance by a Young Actress on a TV Series for her role in "NCIS". In 2013 she was nominated to win an additional Young Artist Award for her performance as a guest in the Disney XD comedy show 'Kickin' it'. Calvano starred in Mom's first three seasons. She also made several guest appearances in the fourth season. She received the Gracie Allen Award of Outstanding Female Actor - Rising Star for her performance in Mom.
